HEC undergraduate studies admission test 2021 (USAT)

Higher Education Commission (HEC) announced the schedule for the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) 2021 programs in all universities of Pakistan. HEC Undergraduate Studies Admission Test 2021 will be conducted quarterly and universities will accept the score of USAT. The Last date for online registration is August 30, 2021 and USAT test will be held on September 12, 2021 tentatively.

The Higher Education commission will conduct the test through the Education Testing Council (ETC) in universities operating all over Pakistan. The pattern of the test will be according to the SAT. The USAT will cover all the disciplines at the undergraduate level. So, all those students who want to pursue their education and will take admission to a university have to appear in HEC USAT 2021. The students after qualifying USAT would stand eligible to all universities like the SAT.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students who have passed their HSSC (Intermediate) exam or equivalent degree
  • Students who have appeared in the HSSC exam and now waiting for the result.
  • Marks Distribution
  • The Undergraduate Studies Admission Test will consist of the following two parts, total marks of the test will be 100.
  • Part-I (Time: 100 Minutes)
  • Verbal Reasoning MCQs 35
  • Quantitative Reasoning MCQs 40
  • Part-II (Time: 40 Minutes)
  • Essay Writing Skills 400-500 Words (25 marks)
  • Out of 100 candidates have to secure at least 50% marks in the USAT to pass the test.

Test Date

According to the schedule, HEC will conduct the USAT 2021 on 12 September 2021 (tentatively).

How to Apply for HEC USAT 2021

  • For registration, please visit (HEC ETC Portal) the following link: http://etc.hec.gov.pk.
  • Application submission consists of two parts: first MY PROFILE Section, then USAT Link on the left side of the portal.

Fees of these Tests:

Students must Pay Rs.1200 tests fees, in HBL Account # 1742 7900 1334 01, Title of Account: Higher Education Commission

Apply for HEC Step by Step Guide

Step no. 1:

login HEC Website. To create an account click on the Signup option which appears in the below login form as shown in screenshots. you can use a computer and mobile to signup or sign in.

Step no. 2:

In 2nd stsp, Enter your Full name, CNIC number, Email, and password with Upper and lower cases. You will need to enter correct information with a valid CNIC number.

Step no. 3:

Verify Your Email and provided mobile number. When you will click on the Signup button after providing the full details in the form, You will receive OTP on your email and mobile number. On the next window, Enter both OTP that you received.

Step no. 4:

Now, you are one step away to apply for Undergraduate Studies Admission Test HEC. After creating an account and verifications Sign in to your account using your CNIC number and password.

Step no. 5:

After signing in to your account you will see two options.

Apply For Undergraduate Studies Admission Test
Select the second number “Apply For Undergraduate Studies Admission Test” and click on it. Fill in the complete information that is required in your profile area. Now click on the Next button.

Step no. 6:

Deposit Rs.1200 to HEC by going to any of the banks. Select the test Name, Type, and City in the application form. In the below boxes, Enter your Bank Name, Deposit date when you pay fees, and Challan Number which is available on Deposit Slip.

    1. Sir what happens if a student apply before 30 August but his/her deposit slip reaches to HEC Islamabad on 2-3 September…bcz courier take 2-3 days…

    2. Should they get our deposit slips till 30th of August? I’ve mailed it today but they’ll recieve it day after tomorrow. Will they accept that?
